Freelance Network Operations Advisor

Position Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Network Operator and Cybersecurity Specialist to manage and secure our network infrastructure, ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data, and implement robust security measures to prevent cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network operations, cybersecurity, and a passion for staying ahead of emerging threats.

Required Skills or Knowledge

• Masters degree or a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in an IT or Cyber-Security focused field
• 5-10 year of demonstrated experience with network infrastructure management and cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of networking, extensive experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation
• Familiarity with security tools
• Knowledge of threat analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar certification desired
