Linguistic AI Data Specialist

Position Description

Source, collect, and annotate large volumes of diverse, naturally occurring language samples in their country's native language, to support the development and training of cutting-edge large language models (LLMs), ensuring cultural relevance, accuracy, and nuance in AI-powered language understanding and generation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Sourcing and Collection: Collect and source a diverse range of high-quality, naturally occurring language samples in the target language, ensuring annotation quality and aligning with project needs.
• Annotation and Labeling: Annotate and label the collected data with contextual information, ensuring accurate and consistent tagging, and aligning with project requirements for AI model training.
• Language Resource Development: Develop and maintain large-scale linguistic resources, such as datasets, corpora, and dictionaries, to support the development and training of large language models.
• Cultural and Contextual Understanding: Demonstrate working knowledge of the local culture, customs, and nuances, ensuring that the annotated data accurately reflects the target language and regional context.
• Collaboration with AI Model Development Teams: Collaborate with AI model development teams to ensure the linguistic data meets project requirements, providing expert insight on cultural and linguistic relevance, and aiding in data validation and review.
